iNoise and Predictor compatibility

Predictor projects can be opened and used in iNoise. The way to transfer/open a Predictor model to iNoise depends on the model’s method:

Predictor ISO 9613, ISO 9613 (1/3 oct), Harmonoise and Analyst models can be opened directly in iNoise
LimA-CNOSSOS models are to be exported to a CNOSSOS model in iNoise
Other method models can be exported to ISO 9613 or CNOSSOS model in iNoise. Here, not all attributes kept.
Exporting models from Predictor is recommended done in QSI or GMF format. The model can then be imported in iNoise.

IMPORTANT: Please note that both iNoise and Predictor-LimA project formats are typically updated when new software versions are released. Therefore, when opening an older verson's project in iNoise or a newer version of Predictor, calculated results are often deleted. So, it is strongly advised to take a backup copy of the project BEFORE opening it in iNoise V2026 or a newer version of Predictor-LimA.
